Some places you visit. Morocco, you feel. Today we are publishing something different: not a destination guide, but the story of what is happening to Moroccan tourism right now — told in numbers, charts, and thirty pages of photography. Our first investor research book is live.

Why we wrote an investor book
Every week we help travelers fall in love with Morocco — the blue streets of Chefchaouen, the silence of the Sahara, the chaos of Jemaa el-Fna. But behind the magic, something remarkable has been happening in the data. Morocco is no longer a hidden gem. It is a record-breaking phenomenon, and we wanted to gather the whole story in one place: the arrivals, the revenue, the infrastructure, and the once-in-a-generation timing.
The result is the Morocco Tourism Investment Report 2026 — a cinematic, 30-page book that pairs the kingdom’s beauty with the numbers behind it.
The numbers that made us write it
- 19.8 million visitors in 2025 — a third consecutive record, up 14% year on year, making Morocco the #1 most-visited destination in Africa, ahead of Egypt.
- $13B+ in tourism revenue — up from $11.3 billion in 2024, itself an all-time record. Tourism now supports around 1.4 million jobs.
- A target of 26 million visitors by 2030 — anchored by the 2030 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted with Spain and Portugal. The previous milestone (17.5M by 2026) was reached two years early.
- The American wave has begun — 1.2 million US visitors in 2025, up 20%, with brand-new nonstop flights from Newark (United, 2024) and Atlanta (Delta, 2025) joining year-round service from JFK, Washington and Miami.

What’s inside the book
We organized it as a journey in five movements:
- The Feeling — why Morocco is not a normal destination.
- The Proof — arrivals, revenue, where the tourist nights gather, hotel occupancy, and who is coming.
- The Kingdom — destination spotlights, the infrastructure build-out (high-speed rail, Tanger Med, the world’s largest stadium-to-be), Casablanca Finance City, and the people who make the magic.
- The Moment — why now, why the American market, and the honest risks.
- The Invitation — how to join the journey.
A few of our favorite facts
- In 1777, Morocco became the first nation on earth to recognize the United States — the 1786 Treaty of Friendship is the longest unbroken treaty in US history.
- The world’s oldest university is not Oxford or Bologna — it is Al-Qarawiyyin in Fes, founded in 859 AD by a woman, Fatima al-Fihri.
- The Grand Stade Hassan II near Casablanca will seat 115,000 — set to be the largest football stadium in the world.
